The farm is very central giving excellent access to local shops visitor attractions and motorway connections. The market town of Ashbourne is within driving distance and with its narrow-cobbled alleys it is something of a haven for antique hunters boasting superb shops as well as a variety of good pubs and restaurants also within a short drive is The National Arboretum museum. Take a trip to Alton Towers Hansons Auctioneers Uttoxeter Racecourse Castle Donington or enjoy a historical day out exploring the National Trust properties such as Kedleston Sudbury and Calke Abbey. Chatsworth Estate and Gardens is around a slightly longer drive but on the scenic route and the farm shop is a must visit to stock up on local goodies.
