Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a pond in the grounds.. The Fairies have worked their magic in creating this LGBT+ friendly, romantic and relaxing setting for two. The cottage has been re-designed within the old 1850 stone barn attached to the owner’s farmhouse, incorporating as much character as possible. Stone windowsills and surrounds, oak beams and open roof features give the cottage a magical feel. White Company Egyptian cotton bedding, soft-touch dressing gowns, silk/Egyptian cotton towels and aromatic soaps give added comfort to all guests.
Entering the property, you are greeted by a cosy kitchen/dining room with everything you need for your stay. There is a fridge, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, a menu and discounts can be found for the restaurant just a few minutes’ walk away. Wander through to find the stairs leading up to the bedroom on the first floor, a comfortable and welcoming bedroom benefitting a double bed, the perfect place to sink into and rest after a day exploring the area. Through the next door is a quaint dressing room with a mirror, table and chair, venture up the next flight of stairs to find a modern and spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, a low-level toilet and a wash hand basin, outside has a little front garden with a table and chairs for you to relax after a days exploring.
The farm has quite a few gardens, two acres of well-kept fields and a lovely relaxing pond with water features, all of which you are welcome to use. There is an outside loo and sink, and hiking boots/wellingtons can be left there to dry overnight. There is a tree swing in the field with a bench built into the stone wall alongside it. It’s a lovely spot to take drinks while soaking up the beautiful scenery, or you can have some fun on the downhill bowling green! You can separately book with the owner’s space to bring your horses and spa treatments; the owners will be in contact with you at the point of booking to give you a breakdown of the additional services they offer.
