There are seating areas at both the front and rear. To the front, there is a patio area with a table and chairs, and a lawn that leans towards the sea. At the rear of the home, ascend some steep steps and find a raised terrace which is ideal for evening meals and sundowners.
Head out on foot and explore the lovely village of Sandsend, which has some great places to eat and some handy convenience stores. Explore the rich history and sandy shoreline at Whitby (3 miles). Both the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and Whitby Abbey are popular attractions, and The Cinder Track, an off-road cycling and walking route that stretches all the way along the coast to Scarborough, is a popular spot.
