Welcome to Dingles Cottage, a perfect retreat for multi-generational holidays situated on the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall. This modern property has four bedrooms to accommodate up to four adults and 3 children (maximum of 4 adults).
It offers stunning views of the South Cornish coast. The reverse level living makes the most of the stunning views, with a huge open plan living space with French doors leading to two balconies’ overlooking the garden. There is a separate lounge with toys, books, DVDs, PlayStation and electric piano. The kitchen is well equipped, and the wood burner is great for relaxing on a cold evening. Downstairs are four bedrooms (two ensuite) and a family bathroom. There is an external games room with table tennis, dart board and gym equipment.
Sit in the garden soaking up the sunshine and enjoy the countryside views. The patio has a picnic area with a fire pit ideal. There are two beaches within a few minutes (and many others in easy reach). Pendower is a 10-minute stroll over fields (and fences!), a sandy beach with lots of rock pools to explore. Portcurnick Beach is a small, sheltered bay home to the legendary pre-war shack renowned for its seasonal salads, grilled fish in spring/summer and in the winter replaced by chowders and spiced dhal. Portscatho is a 7-minute drive. There is a well-equipped shop for food and basics.
St Mawes is 12-minute drive. Built around the harbour, the beach is long and sandy, on the other side is the small village with a selection of shops and cafes. Check out the glamorous Beach Club in front of the Tresanton Hotel. Famous for its boat trips and the St Mawes Ferry connecting this old-world fishing harbour with the maritime port of Falmouth. Wander around the cobbled streets of Falmouth or visit the National Maritime Museum. There is so much choice for places to eat and drink, there will be something to suit everyone.
