Surrounded by shops, tea rooms, restaurants, and pubs all within a short walk. There are regular street markets in Skipton, woodland walks, famous forests, a golf course, castle, swimming pool and pet farms to explore.
Entering the property up the steps, you will find a porch area with plenty of space to store your coats and muddy boots! Walking through to a cosy lounge, two sumptuous sofas await you along with a TV and dining area. A perfect area to plan and wind down after a long day exploring! The kitchen area overlooking the town of Skipton and the hills beyond has everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. Alternatively why not enjoy a local takeaway! The kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. A door leads to the external patio area with dining table and chairs. Wander upstairs where you will find a good-sized master bedroom with a modern twist, a double bed awaits you with plenty of wardrobe space and storage for your belongings.
Along the corridor the second bedroom benefits from a small double bed and storage space. A luxury and modern bathroom benefitting from a spacious shower, comfort level toilet, vanity wash hand basin, illuminated mirror with a shaver charging point and wall mounted heated towel rail. The raised patio at the rear of the property faces south and overlooks allotments , the historic town and beautiful hills in the distance . We have recently renovated the property, and everything is new so it would be very much appreciated if you could remove your shoes especially in wet conditions.
In the living room there is a Smart TV so you will be able to log in to your Netflix account.
In the under stairs cupboard, you will find an iron, ironing board and seat cushions for the outside seating. Please don’t leave the cushions outside overnight and cover the table again before checking out.
You will find a property file in the TV unit which has lots of useful information about the area, places to eat and drink and about various aspects of the property. There are some leaflets about local attractions.
The kitchen is well equipped, and we have added some basics, oil, vinegar salt and pepper etc. and tea and coffee to get you started and you will find some milk in the fridge on arrival so you can have a cuppa. There is a Lavazza coffee machine which takes Lavazza specific pods if you wish to buy some before arrival, they are available from Tesco in Skipton. There will be a few there for your use.
Towels and toiletries are provided and there is also a hairdryer in the draw in the master bedroom.
We are a terraced property so please be considerate to our neighbours with regard to noise.
SAFETY – you MUST NOT cover the wall heaters with clothes/towels etc. as this presents a fire risk. You can air your towels on the heated radiator in the bathroom and there is also an airing rack under the stairs.
There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket on the wall in the under stairs cupboard.
NO PETS - NO SMOKING – CHECK OUT IS 10AM to allow us to prepare for our next guests.
