Summary: Really let down by this stay. Took 40 minutes of queuing to check in (no exaggeration). Air conditioning in room didn't work at all. When booking a hotel, I did so because I wanted air conditioning versus a bnb - instead I ended up hotter than I would be normally, because the window doesn't open all the way. Sauna and steam room were the redeeming factor. I do feel cheating and think that air conditioning should be removed as an amenity on the listing - as this is clearly a long-standing issue that other travellers have had. The room itself was comfortable, but just unbearably hot at points. Cheap desk fan in the wardrobe did nothing to help. This hotel could be so much better if they worried about basic amenities instead of implementing bad systems that slow down service and clearly the staff aren't fans of.
