Summary: Friendly and efficient service from staff, good food for evening meal and spacious bedroom/ bathroom. Excellent breakfast in choice and quality, although first and last time I have a vegan sausage 😂. A few minor issues for us, forgot to tell the owners they need a bath and shower safety mat, as jolly slippy in that shower and navigating the rolltop bath in room 14. Bathroom could do with a little cupboard for our toiletries please . To turn extractor fan off at night, small people like me can’t reach the switch, you may have to ask where the switch for towel radiator is too. The only big thing we had was the road is pretty noisy in the morning from 6am even with windows shut ( fast road) and you may have to ask for a quieter, back room than room 14 or take ear plugs if a light sleeper. You can reserve a table for evening meal if want, but residents always get priority.
