The space
This generous four bedroomed house offers modern luxury in elegant surroundings.
Built to a high spec and superbly finished, the ground floor offers a main kitchen & living room, back kitchen and TV den, porch & utility. Whilst there are four ensuite bedrooms on the first floor with views over the Connemara country side and only 2 minutes walk to the town square.
Guest access
This a stand alone luxury house with a private driveway and parking.
We also own Guys Bar Clifden, an award winning seafood bar just a couple of minutes walk from Sunnybank House, Lodge & Townhouse.

We had a fantastic break at Shane's house, and were blown away by how gorgeous everything was. The house is absolutely beautiful, with attention having been paid to every small detail, with lots of local touches including tweed style curtains and gorgeous throws and blankets. It is a luxurious house finished to a very high standard, and is situated in a great location in the town centre. Shane was a very welcoming, friendly host, and nothing was too much trouble. We also dined in his restaurant, Guy's, and he and his team really looked after us. We had a great night with great food in lovely surroundings. We were very sorry to be leaving at the end of the weekend, and hope to return soon again!!

What an absolute gem! We booked Shane's house for a party of 4 couples. Shane was very responsive and communicated well before arrival. The location of the house was within walking distance to the town centre taking about 2 mins max! The house was beautiful. Spotlessly clean. The kitchen was fantastically equipped with everything you need and more. Bedrooms were all ensuite which worked well for each couple. Shane met with us not long after arrival and was very helpful throughout. We had a lovely meal in Guys restaurant and staff were very attentive. I could highly recommend staying here and will plan to be back.

We were fortunate to spend a week in this stunning house in Clifden. The house is super luxurious with 4 spacious rooms in an elevated location overlooking the beautiful town of Clifden. Beautiful kitchen really well equipped for dining inside and gorgeous area outside with a bbq for when the weather is good. Guys gastropub and the restaurant at the Abbeyglen hotel are to be highly recommended. Shane and Rachel were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond in looking after us. The Lodge is really a home away from home, we cannot wait to return.

Sunnybank Lodge is a fantastic house, well located, superbly equipped, comfortable, clean, spacious and we really enjoyed our stay there. Shane, Rachael and Paula are fantastic hosts, helpful in every way and we highly recommend this property. Looking forward to returning already !

Exceptional...
We rented this house in July 2025 and we were extremely happy that we did as this is a wonderful house and went beyond our expectations.
From the beginning when interacting with Shane and his Team you knew it was going to be good because they were always responsive and courteous in their replies and they also provided great local information to us on pubs, restaurants and activities available close by.
The house is amazing, the minute you walk in the door you see the quality of the fixtures and fittings, premium kitchen with all the modern gadgets - they have thought of everything. Four big bedrooms with en-suites really wonderful showers in all bedrooms.
We were a family of 5 two adults and 3 teenagers (and a Jack Russell) and were all well catered for in the house, the teenage girls even had a separate area for their bedroom with a kitchen and living room included.
