Dive into hundreds of years of history at some of the many historic houses in the area. Explore the grounds at Hever Castle and Gardens (2.5 miles), the former home of Anne Boleyn. Or visit Chartwell House and Gardens (7.5 miles), the former family home of Churchill. For adventures further afield, the Sussex coast is within 35 miles, London can be reached in under an hour from a nearby train station, and Gatwick is only 17 miles away.
