The holiday home’s owner can provide a drop-off and pick-up service along Hadrian’s Wall so you can thoroughly explore the area; and with Northumberland National Park 11 miles away, there are plenty more opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. Visit Haltwhistle (0.5 miles), a picturesque market town in the South Tyne Valley where you can while away hours in the local pubs and cafes, spot wildlife or try pony trekking. Or, for a dose of modern city life, take a day trip to Carlisle (20 miles) where there are plenty of museums, restaurants and shops.
Make yourself at home in the ground-floor, open-plan living space where the carpeted sitting room is traditionally styled with classic patterned sofas, a feature wall, a TV and DVD player, and a wood burner nestled in the corner.
